What governance do we need to meet the challenges of the future?

From the complex point of view presented to us by the current situation, the need to activate governance mechanisms to address these challenges is increasingly evident. Precisely, on September 18, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa held a working day to reflect on the mechanisms of anticipatory governance within the framework of the Etorkizuna Eraikiz programme.

The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, within the framework of the “Anticipatory Governance” project led by the OECD OPSIobservatory, and with the collaboration of Agirre Lehendakaria Center, works jointly with other European countries in this field. Likewise, the process  is related to the project Debagoiena 2030, promoted by Agirre Lehendakaria Center.

At the seminar on 18 September, around 30 people from different departments of the Provincial Council and other agents of Gipuzkoa met, with the aim of reflecting on the mechanisms of governance, support structures and transactional and operational competences of Etorkizuna Eraikiz.
