
Twenty Years of the Center for Basque Studies Press
An event organized by the Center for Basque Studies, together with the Agirre Lehendakaria Center and, the Jon Bilbao Basque Library. With the support of the Hilliard Foundation.
The CBS Press celebrates its 20th anniversary with the publication of nearly 200 titles and positions CBS Press as No. 1 worlwide in the ranking of English presses in the field of Basque Studies.
To commemorate this anniversary, the CBS has hosted two academic lectures on November 16th with the participations of CSU Bakerfield and Agirre Lehendakaria Center's talk "Reinventing the Basque case", where ALCk. introduced the center's international work. The event continued on November 17th, with two more lectures with the Basque writer Kirmen Uribe presenting his novel "Bilbao-New York-Bilbao" along with two music recitals. This event has been organized by the Center for Basque Studies, the Agirre Lehendakaria Center and, the Jon Bilbao Basque Library of the University of Nevada.
