In March 2024, the listening process began in Sant Andreu de la Barca and La Garriga. The city council team, together with the Barcelona Provincial Council and ALC team, has created various spaces for listening and conversation in primary schools, high schools, and art schools, collecting the voices of students, teachers, administrative and maintenance staff, monitors and canteen staff, as well as the AMPA-AFAs, among others.

Through these processes, the aim is to deepen into the narratives that operate in each territory and to identify the challenges and opportunities in education. This process will be complemented by various listening channels, such as participatory observation, questionnaires and surveys, coordination meetings or participatory forums. The information collected will be analysed in the collective interpretation sessions to be held in both municipalities in June 2024.
