The great challenges that arise in the coming years, due to their complex and interconnected nature, require new ways of doing things. The research carried out by ALCK, in collaboration with its local and international partners, demonstrates that the Human Development model built by Basque society in recent decades cannot be understood as a series of disconnected interventions, but rather is a true movement of socioeconomic transformation.
In this sense, ALCK promotes community transformation processes through Open Innovation Platforms, relying on culture as a driver of change.
With the purpose of sharing the knowledge generated by the center since its inception with society as a whole, ALCK has a Training Program:
“Large-Scale Transformation Processes: Lessons from the Basque Model Towards Sustainable Human Development”
This fourth edition of the ALCK training program concluded in 2021 with the presentation of three final projects carried out in groups by the students, taking as a reference three processes that we are currently developing in the center: Innovation Platform for Cultural and Creative Industries — Last Tour, Goierri Transformation Process and Study of the perceptions around Euskera.
