Agirre Lehendakaria Center, in collaboration with Professor Elvira Uyarra (University of Manchester), will hold a seminar this Friday, June 26, to gain an in-depth understanding of the regional innovation model being promoted by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and to compare it with the Basque system of science, technology, and innovation. Afterward, the ALC delegation, led by Cristina Uriarte, the research director, will travel to Cardiff. In the Welsh capital, in addition to learning about the university’s work in this field, meetings are planned with the Centre for Innovation Policy Research (CIPR), representatives of the Cardiff Capital Region, and members of the new Welsh government.
