Within the platform, ALC^k plays the role of coordination and developmental evaluation of the process and participates in the driving group together with the Strategy and Environment Departments of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa,Debagoiena 2030 and Arantzazulab.

Gipuzkoa Deep Demonstration is an advanced experimentation process that started in 2020 with an analysis of the Etorkizuna Eraikiz portfolio of initiatives and the introduction to the systemic point of view (connection between initiatives, collaboration between different agents). During 2021, work has been done on the design of a process that aims to deepen this analysis - the contribution of the portfolio to the axes of social cohesion, decarbonization and social adaptation and the study of connections and initiatives at 5 levels: (1) community initiatives, (2) small and medium scale, (3) large scale, (4) services and (5) regulations. Based on this analysis, new initiatives will be co-created to strengthen the portfolio to achieve a greater impact on the sustainability of the territory.


In 2022, two interconnected missions were promoted under a logic of experimentation, the first in sustainable food systems led by AZTI and the second in new mobility by IDOM. Both missions are currently in the deployment phase. ALC's role in this phase is to provide strategic support to the Gipuzkoa Government in relation to the approach used throughout the process and to guarantee the interconnection between the two missions.
