Launch of the global network for innovation in drug policy

ALC participates in the seminar in Medellín

On December 4, ALC participated in the seminarSocial Innovation as a Response to Complex Problems” at the Luis Amigó Catholic University in Medellín, to launch the first Global Network for Innovation in Drug Policy and Development, as part of the D2 INNO-LAB initiative. The meeting brought together academics, social leaders, and representatives of international organizations to discuss how social innovation can help collaboratively address drug-related issues such as violence, care, and inequality, among others.

ALC participated in the launch of the network by introducing the social innovation approach and tools for addressing complex issues, and sharing the work carried out within the framework of the COPOLAD III program to promote five social innovation laboratories in Latin America and the lessons learned.

Finally, ALC presented the K-tool as a new digital infrastructure for collaborative governance, incorporating the cultural dimension of each territory. The K-tool is configured as a tool for disseminating the knowledge accumulated by the COPOLAD III program in the deployment of the network of social innovation laboratories.
