Julen Larrañaga is an anthropologist and Project Coordinator at the Agirre Lehendakaria Center for Social and Political Studies. His work focuses on designing and supporting social innovation processes from a participatory, mission-oriented perspective. Among his main areas of work, he has coordinated the listening process around the expansion of the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao in Urdaibai, as well as several projects aimed at transforming the care system through a community-based approach. He also coordinates the Center’s collaboration with the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and Kutxa Foundation to develop collaborative “missions” in areas such as food systems and mobility.
Before joining ALC, he worked in project coordination at Garabide and coordinated international projects related to community development in countries such as Ecuador and Colombia.
